 Races in the Game

Elves | Humans | Trolls

For the moment the only elves in the game are the Wolfriders. As more elvin tribes are discovered, their specific tribe information will be added.

By no means will the Elves be the only races that members are allowed to play. Members are incouraged to help themselves to a human or troll character.

Anyway, no matter which of the 3 races you are interested in playing, you can check them out below.

Important!...

Please be aware that any submitted characters that are exactly like, similar too or related to any of the Pini's EQ characters, will NOT be accepted. In other words. No Skywise's or Cutters, no Skywise's unknown, or out of Recognition daughters, no 2nd or 3rd cousins to Strongbow. This goes for the Human and Troll races too!

Elves | Humans | Trolls

Elves

Wolfriders are Nocturnal (night-dwelling) elves that have a strain of mortal wolf blood running in their blood from the time of the 'High Ones'. They range in height of 2'3" to 4'8", with 3'7" being about the average. In weight, they range from 38lbs all the way up to 108lbs. They ride wolves and have taken on the 'pack' attitude of their wolves.

They mentally link with (generally) one wolfcub during both (the elf and the wolf) of their childhoods, this is called 'bonding'. That bond grows stronger as the 2 grow up together and exists for the lifetime of that wolf; upon the death of the first Wolf-bond it is typical for that elf to be chosen by a grown unbonded wolf that may still be with the pack.

All of the Wolfriders have the Sending, Magic Feeling, and Wolf Bonding magic abilities.

Also, at the present time, the Wolfriders are also using bone and stone tools, but because of one of their members having a stone-shaping ability, the stone is more prodomanite.

Please note that if you are interested in playing or adopting a Wolfrider, you will need to pay attention to the magic abilities above, as well as the restrictions.

Humans

For the most part, the Game Master will be running them. Some though are open for Creating.

There are several tribes of humans living on the World. Those that are living nearest to the Everwood Holt Elves vary between distrust and hatred of the elves.

The Humans range in height of 5 feet to 6'6", with 5'9" being about the average. In weight, they range from 109lbs all the way up to 287lbs, with 198lbs being about average.

The Humans are mostly day living beings, fearing the night and creatures that they associate with the night (hence the hatred/fear of the Wolfriders). Giving the time frame of the Game, the humans are using stone and bone tools, rather then the metal tools.

The humans mainly live in family groups that have banded together, creating a small village or tribe. Which normally is surrounded by a barrier made up of tall wooden stakes.
Non of the Humans have magical powers or magical abilities.

Trolls

Trolls lived underground, rarely seeing what above ground looks like, or the sunlight. They are the masters of the forge and of mechanical work. Also, they are the strongest of the intelligent species of this world. Trolls are of elvin height, but are as heavy as the humans, have green skin, and appear extremely ugly to all but other Trolls.

The ugliest appearing Troll to both Human and Elvin eyes, is concidered the most beautiful to their own eyes. In this case the phrase, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder." is the most appropriate.

Trolls are very xenophobic, and can only grudgingly be persuaded to deal with elves or man.

They use metal tools, mainly made of forged steel, which they call Bright Metal; and are very greedy (love gold and jewels).

Oh, Yeah. They are also green-skinned.
